Geo-location data is a record of the location of a vehicle, phone, or other device at a specific point in time. It can also include information about the acceleration experienced by that device. When collected over a period of time, geo-location data can be used to show the movements and travel patterns of a device, including the places it has been, the direction it was traveling, and the time of those journeys. This data is recorded in the background when the tracking system is activated and when you use our Apps on your phone or other device. The tracking system stops recording geo-location data when it is deactivated, which can be done through the App settings. Geo-location data is crucial to the functioning of our services. If you do not allow us to collect this data or request that the tracking system be deactivated, we will not be able to provide you with those Services.
OBDII (On-Board Diagnostics II) device data includes information about the technical condition of a vehicle, such as speed, engine RPM, fuel level, diagnostic trouble codes, and other operational parameters. This data can be collected when the app connects to an OBDII plug installed in the vehicle. Connecting to the OBDII plug allows real-time monitoring and analysis of the vehicle’s technical condition, which can be useful for diagnostics and maintenance.
However, it is important to note that connecting to an OBDII plug is not necessary for the proper functioning of the app. The app can operate without this connection, offering other vehicle monitoring and location features. If you choose not to connect to an OBDII plug, the app will still function, but you will not be able to use features related to diagnostics and monitoring the technical condition of the vehicle.
OBDII device data is collected only during an active connection with the app and is processed in accordance with applicable laws and this privacy policy. You can manage your OBDII connection settings in the app settings at any time. If you decide to terminate the connection with the OBDII plug, data collection from the device will be immediately discontinued.
We do not disclose your private data and in particular the geo-location data, to third parties in cases other than those necessary for the proper work of the Service and mentioned in this Privacy Policy.
